We’re excited that you’re considering the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions (CWMP) at Palm Harbor University High School—a nationally recognized medical magnet program designed to prepare students for future careers in healthcare and wellness fields.

Please note that student shadowing opportunities are no longer available for the 2026–2027 school year. 


Application Assistance Night

To continue supporting families through the application process, CWMP will be hosting an Application Assistance Night for prospective students and parents.

DAP Application Support Night at Palm Harbor University High School!

📅 Date: Monday, January 13, 2025
⏰ Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: Teachers’ Café
Please park in the front parking lot and enter through the Teacher Cafeteria located north of the Administration Building.

  • Receive guidance on completing the CWMP application
  • Learn more about program pathways and expectations
  • Ask questions and receive support from CWMP staff

Date, time, and location details will be shared soon. We encourage all interested families to attend.

How to Apply:

To apply to this program, you will need to live in the north application area, comprised of the high school zones for Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Palm Harbor University, and Tarpon Springs.

Application Timeline:

·                     Application period: 9 a.m. on January 6-16 by 5:00 p.m.

·                     Acceptance period: 9 a.m. February 10-20 at 5:00 p.m.

·                     Late Application begins March 25, 2026

District Application Program Information & Materials


Campus Tours

Campus tours will be available after a student has been accepted into the CWMP program.

Once acceptance letters have been issued, families may schedule a tour by calling the CWMP Office. Tours will provide an opportunity to:

  • Visit CWMP classrooms and labs
  • Learn more about coursework and certification opportunities
  • Become familiar with the PHUHS campus
